LTC (Ret.) Rob Nahabedian, P.E., ENV SP, has joined Hana Engineers and Consultants, LLC, as Construction Management Department Lead. A former Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Charleston District, Rob will lead Hana’s fast-growing Construction Management Services (CMS) team from the company’s Charleston, SC, location.
Most recently, Rob served as the 90th commander of the USACE Charleston District, where he forged and strengthened partnerships between community stakeholders, agency partners, and USACE.
Hana President Marcus Kim, P.E., said Rob’s depth of knowledge and experience will provide Hana’s CMS Team with the vision and leadership needed to advance the company’s commitment to excellence and a high standard of customer service.

Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. He also holds master’s degrees in Engineering Management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Rob served in the US Army for 22 years, including deployments to Baghdad, Iraq; Afghanistan’s Paktika Province, and to Europe. He served as policy staff officer with the 1st German-Netherlands Corps in Münster, Germany, and as the commander of the 59th Forward Engineer Support Team (FEST-A) at US Army Europe/Africa (USAREUR-AF) headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany. At USAREUR-AF, Rob worked on 35% design of projects across eastern Europe in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve and the European Deterrence Initiative.

Hana’s CMS department focuses on quality assurance, project schedule reliability, data assessment and validation, contractor quality control, design management, cost management, contract feasibility, scope management, and compliance through all phases of construction, among other services. The department provides project management and oversight delivery for a variety of federal and commercial projects and clients across the U.S.
Rob will be based in the Hana’s North Charleston office.
