Hana Engineers and Consultants, LLC, Environmental Engineer and Chief Operations Officer Christina Jettie, P.E., has been named the incoming president for the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Charleston, S.C., Post.
Christina, who has been a member of SAME for more than 10 years, first joined the Hampton Roads, Virginia, Post as an entry-level engineer in 2012.

“Those early experiences introduced me to the mission, professionalism, and collaborative spirit that make SAME such a meaningful organization,” Christina said. “When I moved to Charleston in 2016, joining the Charleston Post felt like a natural continuation of that journey.”
Since that time, Christina has been an active member in the Charleston Post and participated in the 2024–2025 Leadership Development Program. She has seen Charleton Post strengthen its professional and community partnerships and expand its impact across the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry.
Christina replaces Rachel Honderd as past president, who she called an outstanding leader who will remain engaged in the organization. Christina also welcomed other new officers for the SAME Charleston Post.
“We have tremendous opportunities to build upon our successes, enhance our programs, and continue creating a vibrant, inclusive Post that supports our military, public-sector partners, private sector members, and future leaders,” Christina said.
Christina will serve a term of two years.
