PFAS Risk Communication Training

Hana developed and performed three-day training courses on Risk Communication for the Army National Guard (ARNG) and US Army Environmental Command (USAEC) at multiple locations throughout the U.S. This project was executed for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The Goal of the training was to educate Federal personnel on risk communication approaches on issues involving safety, health, and environmental factors including managing potential impacts of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Each training course consisted of three days of instruction, including classroom exercises. Hana developed the training course materials presenting complex PFAS information to the general public, effective public engagement, and media relations skills.
