Hana President Marcus Kim, P.E., said Randy’s experience and demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with a variety of simultaneous inputs and deliverables provide Hana with another experienced, talented consultant to further serve clients.

“Hana continues to invest in highly skilled and experienced environmental, geotechnical, construction management, remediation, and field services talent,” Kim said. “Randy is joining an already robust group of professionals who pride themselves on executing the work and providing creative and cost-effective solutions that our clients and customers have come to depend on. We are elated to have someone with Randy’s depth of experience joining the Hana Team.”

As a senior environmental technical consultant at Hana, Randy will leverage his Superfund site management experience to provide a collaborative component for Hana’s projects and project teams, accelerating completion and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Prior to working at EPA, Randy worked in the chemical and hazardous waste industries, providing him with the experience of operating within the regulated community.

One of Randy’s strengths is collaborating with stakeholders to find innovative technical solutions for project success. By working together with technical experts and community and governmental stakeholders, the results often lead to accelerated solutions and better, more sustainable outcomes.

“It’s critically important to give others the opportunity for input when seeking out the best solutions,” Randy said. “That’s the value of an approach like this. When you implement solutions with stakeholders considering both short-term and long-term concerns that maximize success for all parties.”

Randy holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana State University and has presented nationally on environmental remediation and Superfund cleanup issues.

He has made presentations for and participated on panels for the Association of State and Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials and at several Battelle International Conferences on Remediation and Management of Contaminated Sediments along with multiple National Association of Remedial Project Managers Conferences.

Randy also has worked as a presenter on a variety of topics for federal, state, and local governments along with community, business, and industrial stakeholders.
