VDEQ Formerly Used Defense Sites Environmental Investigations

Hana was contracted by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ) Office of Remediation Programs (ORP) to provide technical support in conducting environmental investigations at various Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) located across Virginia. Hana worked collaboratively with VDEQ, US EPA, and USACE to investigate legacy FUDS that have not been formally closed under the Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP). The purpose of these investigations is to determine if the site can be recommended for no further action and site closure, or if additional investigation and/or remediation is necessary.
