Site Characterization of Petroleum Release at Pier Bulk Head Project

The US Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center was assigned responsibility to investigate a petroleum release at a pier bulkhead along the York River. Hana performed historical research and data collection that included file reviews to obtain additional operational information and base mapping to aid the planning and completion of the Site Characterization Report. Hana assisted Tetra Tech with technical planning of the site investigation and preparation of the Site Characterization Report for the petroleum release. The report was prepared in accordance with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ) Storage Tank Program Technical Manual. The site was ultimately closed by VDEQ.
